Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has confirmed the identity of the shooting victim at Market Crossing in Burnaby. One man was killed and 2 injured in the brazen shooting that took place on the evening of Thursday, May 13th. Shooting took place just outside the Cactus club at the Market Crossing complex around 8:30 pm. Within minutes several videos of the shooting aftermath went viral on social media.
IHIT has now identified the victim as 23 year old Jaskeerat Kalkat.
