Kuldip Singh began working at Sher-E-Punjab Radio quite by chance. His potential was discovered while being a guest speaker on AM 1550 in 2005. He was given a chance to fill in for the show Gurbani Vichar and since then he has anchored this show. Kuldip also hosts the weekend morning show Dilaan di Sanjh. The Saturday morning edition is focused on South Asian health issues with various guest health specialists ranging from and not limited to pediatricians, cardiologists, dieticians and psychologists. This show has been airing since 2005 and is the longest running health focused show for the South Asian Community to provide preventative health advice, knowledge and education. The Sunday morning edition is focused on discussing historical controversial issues.
Singh can speak a total of five languages, including Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, English and Spanish.
On days off, Singh enjoys volunteering his time in community events, continuously researching and learning about historical controversies, health issues to provide education and information to the South Asian community. Aside from the volunteer dedication he loves spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Singh’s favorite quote is, “Koi Bole Ram Ram, Koi Khudai, Koi Sev Gusaiyan, Koi Allah”. This translates to we are all the same, but have different paths to reach the Almighty.
